Our Programs

dance classes

We are a friendly group of ladies and gentlemen who meet in St Denys for weekly classes learning the country dances, quadrilles and cotillions of the Georgian period, including the Napoleonic and Regency eras.

Full instruction is given. Most dances are lively and you need to be reasonably fit.

We have space for a few new members in 2021 and are particularly keen to obtain  more members age 16-25, more Black people and People of Colour, and more gentlemen. No partner  or costume is required to join in our sessions, just flat flexible shoes  and comfy clothing. Minimum age to attend classes is 14. If you are interested in learning to dance with us, please get in touch!

We host our own private balls with Green Ginger and have social meet-ups including picnics and visits to historic sites.
